Re-Enrollment for 2024-25 School Year

Current students who wish to return for the 2024-25 school year must complete the “Intent to Return” form either digitally in the Aeries Parent Portal or submit a hard copy form to the school office by January 31st. If the “Intent to Return” form is not received by January 31st, the student is forfeiting their spot at the Sacramento Academic Vocational Academy (SAVA) for the 2024-25 school year.

**ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY MARCH 22ND AT 5:00PM**
 
Any applications received after this date and time will not be considered in the lottery.
 
All new students interested in applying for 2024-25, must submit an application before the end of Open Enrollment. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Families will be notified of acceptance or denial once the open enrollment period ends or the lottery is conducted. If there are more applicants than available space, admission will be decided by a random public drawing (lottery).
 
If accepted, new enrollees will need to provide proof of residence, proof of birthdate, and immunization records. The applicant will be disqualified if the application is falsified or if incorrect information is provided. Falsifying any information (including address) will void acceptance.

If needed, the lottery will occur on April 5th at 9:00 AM for Sacramento Academic Vocational Academy (SAVA). The lottery is open to the public.
If a lottery is needed, preference will be given according to the charter specifications which are as follows:
 
  1. Returning SAVA students
  2. Siblings of returning students who reside within the Elk Grove, Sacramento City, or Twin Rivers Unified School District boundaries
  3. Siblings of returning students who reside outside the Elk Grove, Sacramento City, or Twin Rivers Unified School District boundaries
  4. Children of SAVA employees who reside within the Elk Grove, Sacramento City, or Twin Rivers Unified School District boundaries
  5. Children of SAVA employees who reside outside the Elk Grove, Sacramento City, or Twin Rivers Unified School District boundaries
  6. All other applicants who reside within the Elk Grove, Sacramento City, or Twin Rivers Unified School District boundaries
  7. All other applicants

Current Year Enrollment for 2023-24 School Year

Sacramento Academic & Vocational Academy (SAVA Charter School) accepts student enrollment year round for both Fall and Spring semesters. Our programs enroll Middle and High School students, grades 7 – 12. SAVA is a free public charter school, so there is no cost to attend.
 
All enrollment for new students must be submitted digitally using the form below. Individual orientation appointments will be set for each student upon your visit. Completed digital enrollment and all required documents (copy of immunization record and current transcripts) are required for enrollment.
 
Returning students who wish to re-enroll can do so at any time. Please call the SAVA campus you wish to attend to set up an orientation appointment.
 

Now enrolling for Fall 2023

Re-enrollment for all current students for the 2023-24 school year is open May through June of each year, and is completed by logging onto the Aeries Parent Portal using your registered email (click here). You will be asked to verify your contact information and intent to return for each student enrolled. An enrollment clerk will reach out to schedule an orientation and provided details about any additional paperwork needed to complete your enrollment. *Please note that if you would like to enroll in our SAVA campus in North Natomas, please select “SAVA”  (no district) in the dropdown option.
